How We Built LifeTagger

LifeTagger is a proximity-based tagging platform that enables businesses to create location-aware digital experiences. Users can tag physical objects, places, and moments with digital content — photos, videos, links, and custom data — delivered through a cross-platform mobile app.

The Challenge

The founder had a clear vision for a location-aware tagging system but needed a technical partner to architect and build the full platform — iOS app, Android app, backend API, and an admin dashboard — from scratch.

The Solution

PLECCO delivered the complete LifeTagger platform: a React Native mobile app for iOS and Android, a Node.js REST API with geolocation and proximity triggering, and a web-based admin portal for content management. The system supports QR codes, NFC, and GPS-based triggers.

Results

LifeTagger successfully launched and expanded into retail, event management, and enterprise verticals, with the flexible platform architecture enabling rapid customization for each client segment.

BatteryXchange is a portable phone charging kiosk service that lets users rent battery packs at venues and events. PLECCO developed the full software stack — from kiosk firmware integration to the consumer-facing mobile app and back-office management platform.
